Today is a Historic Day

Yes, we are voting for the future of America and hopefully for the first time, a Female President. But it is also a historic day for me… because today I celebrate/survived/kicked ass as being a Diabetic for 20 Years.

It is amazing how fast the years have gone by.  I remember my diagnosis.  The time I had a seizure/such a bad low I couldn’t move.  Meeting so many wonderful other type 1 diabetics who help my life be complete.  All the highs and lows… literally and figuratively.

I know this won’t be a long post because I was out of town for work for a few days, then a research study in the hospital and now it is Election Night.  So it’s quick and dirty but I know I had to say something.
